School of Surf Academy

This 30-week surf academy is designed to transform young surfers from beginners to confident, skilled wave riders. Through structured lessons, hands-on practice, and expert coaching, participants will develop a deep understanding of ocean safety, wave dynamics, and essential surfing techniques.

Throughout the course, students will progressively build their skills—from mastering paddling and balance to executing advanced maneuvers and competition strategies. Emphasis is placed on confidence building, fitness, and surf etiquette, ensuring that each participant gains the necessary skills to ride waves with control and style.

FAQs

  • Our surf academy is designed for kids aged [4-17] years old. We have instructors trained to work with children of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to those with some experience.

  • No, we provide all necessary equipment including surfboards and wetsuits for your child. We ensure that the gear fits properly and is suitable for the surf conditions.

  • Please have your child bring:

    • Swimwear (under the wetsuit)

    • Towel

    • Sunscreen (applied before the lesson)

    • Water bottle to stay hydrated
      Optional: water shoes (if they prefer additional foot protection).

  • Every child progresses at their own pace, but most beginners are able to stand on the board during their first lesson with the help of our experienced instructors. We provide step-by-step guidance and lots of encouragement!
